IT HAS been said purchasing a yearling which has been professionally prepared is an important factor in the decision-making process.

If that is a theory you describe to, then, these 15 lots at Sunday’s Ladbrokes Australian Pacing Gold Sale are a must to view.

Along with being well-bred types, they have been cared for by Annie Dalton.

A regular fixture at Ladbrokes APG’s Sale each year, Dalton is widely-regarded as a master in her craft – or to put it in horse terms, a Grand Circuit superstar!

The ‘Dalton Dream Team’ are Lots 4, 10, 21, 25, 29, 33, 45, 107, 122, 149, 158, 169, 182, 197 and 199.

Lot 197 is an interesting offering after becoming a bit of a social media hit.

Bought as a weanling by Steve Cleave, the filly’s pending sale was posted by the Victorian horseman, which has seen it shared numerous times during the past week!

By Western Terror, the filly is from race winning mare Presidential Night, which has produced three winners from four starters, making the youngster a half-sister to handy pacer Blue Suede Hooves.

The family also includes Karloo Mick, October Son, Maggies Son, The Quiet Village, Lord Lynbar, Bold Nello and Shadow Maker.
