FOR the second year running the Harness Breeders New South Wales Pink Diamond will be held at Tabcorp Park Menangle (Club Menangle).

The $14,840 three-year-old fillies feature will be held on February 4 and had a new condition.

For the first time preference will be given to NSW Breeders Challenge eligible fillies, a move that HBNSW President Darryll Kell hopes to encourage more participation.

“We are hoping that trainers will support the race with their NSW Breeders Challenge Eligible fillies,” he said.

“On the night Menangle is offering a half-price buffet in the restaurant for the female owners/trainers and breeders with runners engaged at the meeting.”

The Pink Diamond was first held at Penrith Paceway in 2013 and was won by Regaltive and a year later won by Whitershadeofpale.

The race then moved to Menangle where the talented Our Dream About Me won the 2016 edition in a mile rate of 1:54.4.
