The all-important barrier draw for the 2017 G1 $450,000 TABtouch WA Pacing Cup has been conducted in JP’s Sports Bar at Gloucester Park.
Last week’s G1 Retravision Fremantle Cup winner, Chicago Bull drew Barrier 8, making it a hard task for the rising star.
While Fremantle Cup runner up, Soho Tribeca, drew Barrier 12.
All the gate speed seems to be drawn in the middle of the field with Cyamach in Barrier 4, Bettors Fire in Barrier 5 and Beaudiene Boaz in Barrier 6, which should see fireworks early on Friday night.
The Barrier Draw for the G1 $450,000 TABtouch Pacing Cup (2900m) is as follows;
Flaming Flutter - Emg 1
David Hercules - Emg 2
Throughout this week, GPTV will have an extended preview of the TABtouch WA Pacing Cup, speaking to all the main players. GPTV can be found at www.gloucesterpark.com.au
A big crowd is expected at Gloucester Park on Friday Night and there will be fun for the whole family, with kids’ entertainment from the Radio Lollipop Roadshow and live music on the trackside stage.
There will be a new menu unveiled in JP’s Sportsbar, personally created by Gloucester Park head chef Daniel Batson and the evening will be capped off with a display of the famous Gloucester Park fireworks after the last race.
Gloucester Park will also be donating a portion of the entrance fee to a worthy cause, as well as collecting on-course throughout the night.
“Harness Racing in Western Australia has gone through a heartbreaking time over the holiday period and as token of our support to people in the harness racing industry struggling with personal issues, Gloucester Park Harness Racing will be donating $2 from each general admission paid entry to Lifeline” said GPHR President John Burt
“Last year GPHR donated to the Lord Major’s Bushfire Appeal and this year we are proud to support such a vital service to the community in Lifeline” Burt added.
