THE United Harness Racing Association (UHRA) will hold its Annual General Meeting at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Wednesday January 18.
Scheduled to start at 6:30pm, UHRA President John McCarthy urges all members to attend.
“I urge all members to attend,” McCarthy said.
“We are looking for a strong roll-up for the meeting.
“We have important matters to discuss including the current whip issue.
“We’re looking for people who may be interested on being on the Committee also.”
The UHRA is the accredited body that is representative of the trainers and drivers however membership is open to all participants.
Persons wishing to become members of the UHRA should contact UHRA Secretary Flora Robson (flora.robson@bigpond.com) prior to the meeting. Membership is only $10 annually.
Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 33 racing clubs across the State. HRNSW is headed by an industry-appointed Board of Directors and is independent of Government.
