Champion New Zealand pacer Roman Gladiator (pictured) has come up with the visitors draw out wide in barrier eight, while the event will also see a great interstate challenge.

Roman Gladiator, who competed in last years SEW Eurodrive Miracle Mile, will join fellow kiwi Fake Denario in the sprint, while Petousa, Imperial Stride and Blank Canvas (2nd Emergency) make up the local numbers for New South Wales.

Manrock, The Sentry and Only The One (1st Emergency) will fly the flag for Victoria with Romeos Legend and Mister Martini representing the Sunshine State of Queensland.

Last weeks Hondo Grattan Sprint saw first and second placegetters Zaneden and Slipnslide prevail through to the Chariots of Fire while Born Again Christian has so far been issued the only invitation to Australasias premier four-year-old event.
