Trotter of the Year Super Zeck wins for trainer Darren Cole.

The son of a metro-winning pacing mare and a million-dollar winning pacing stallion has taken out one of the state's leading trotting titles.

Super Zeck was named the Victorian Square Trotters Association's Trotter of the Year at last night's awards night at Maryborough, which honours outstanding Victorian-trained trotters performances throughout Australia.

Points are awarded five for a first placing, two for second and one for a third, with Darren Cole's Terang trotter Super Zeck awarded for an outstandingly consistent season in which he peeled off 10 wins, six seconds and three thirds, including the Group 2 Woodlands Stud Breeders Crown Free For All.
