The Goodtime Lodge Allamerican Ingot Race Series, a new series for C0 pacers, will be held over four races across three States in September.

All races will be conducted over the closest distance to the metric mile.

The winning owner of each race will receive a free service to the Western Hanover horse Allamerican Ingot 2, 1:51.6; 3, 1:50.6 ($1,238,935), who is standing his first Victorian season at the Goodtime Lodge stud, of Ian and Judi Slater, of Elliminiyt, near Colac.

The winner of the prestigious Woodrow Wilson and Messenger Stake, Allamerican Ingot has been a leading percentage sire of two-year-olds since being imported to Western Australia in 2009.

Among his winners have been the $100,000 winners Lady Willoughby, All Aussie Boy and Where Dreams Grow and the classic winners Highest Royalty, Americanbootscoota and Pure Royalty.

The overall series winner will be the horse with the fastest mile rate and the winning owner will also receive a Perth Mint pure gold ingot valued at $700 from the Slater family.

In the event of a tie, the winner will be the horse recording the fastest last 800 metres, and if the result is still tied, then the one with the highest saddlecloth number will be declared the outright winner.

The series will be held at the following venues:

Shepparton – September 16 – 1690 metres

Launceston – September 18 – 1680 metres

Terang – September 20 – 1680 metres

Port Pirie – September 23 – 1609 metres
