HRV Stewards have issued charges against licensed trainer Mr Joe Bajada under the Australian Harness Racing Rules (AHRR) relating to the alleged raceday treatment of the horse Major Calipso.
It is alleged that Mr Bajada stomach tubed Major Calipso with an alkalinising agent or agents preceding that horse’s engagement in Race 1 at Tabcorp Park Melton on 29 April 2016.
The charge will be heard by the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on a date to be fixed.
