Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) conducts the commercial and regulatory functions of the harness racing industry in NSW. Operating under the Harness Racing Act 2009, HRNSW is chartered to operate autonomously of government in managing the strategic and commercial development of harness racing in NSW as a not-for-profit corporate body.
A full-time vacancy exists for a Registrar/Licensing Manager based in Bankstown.
Reporting to the Integrity Officer the successful applicant will be required to undertake the following tasks:

Manage the Registration of Horses process

Oversee the licensing of person
-
Administer breeding strategies
-
Process registration, ownership, leases, name applications and licenses

Liaise with Licensees
-
Coordinate the branding and identification process of foals
-
Liaise with Breeders and Owners
The applicant should have the following skills
-
An excellent knowledge of harness racing
-
An understanding of Australian Harness Rules and HRNSW Policies
-
Self motivated and ability to work within tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.

Superior computer literacy and verbal communications skills.

Commitment to ensuring that the Inegrity Department operates in a fair, honest and transparent manner

Commitment to working in a team environment and adherence to the HRNSW Staff Policy Manual and Code of Conduct.
The successful applicant will be provided a remuneration package based upon their relevant experience.
