Harness Racing Australia (HRA) has today released the 2016/2017 Grand Circuit, Trotting Masters and Feature Race Calendar which was approved by Members at the recent Mid-Season Meeting.   The Calendar brings together all the feature races conducted in Australia and New Zealand to provide a central and comprehensive point of reference.

The Calendar is prepared on a collaborative basis between the HRA Feature Race Committee, State Controlling Bodies, Principal Racing Clubs and HRNZ. Construction attempts to balance tradition, commercial and local factors with suitable race programming and the avoidance of clashes wherever possible.

While all care has been taken in compiling this Calendar, owners and trainers should appreciate that circumstances may dictate the need for amendment from time to time.  Every effort will be made to bring such changes to the attention of the industry, however, it is the responsibility of participants to avail themselves of all such information provided by HRA and State Controlling Bodies. Consideration should also be given to the conditions or impact that qualifying races, preludes and heats may have leading into feature races.
