Kelvin Barker, trainer of Lavish Smile, advised that the mare did not appear to take any ill effect from the run, however has now been spelled.

RACE 3 - FISHERS SUPERMARKET DEAKIN AVENUE MILDURA VICBRED PACE (2190 MS)
Matt Maguire, trainer of Soho Cruise, has reported that blood tests taken from the gelding subsequent to the performance failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Mr Maguire added that Soho Cruise had trialled well at Globe Derby on Sunday 1 May 2016 and it was the stables intention to continue on with the current preparation.
RACE 6 - FISHERS SUPERMARKET RED CLIFFS PACE (2190 MS)
Luke Watson, trainer of Fortitudo, has advised that blood tests taken subsequent to the event did not reveal any significant abnormalities. Mr Watson further advised that Fortitudo will now have a short letup.

Connections of Road To Rock have advised that a veterinary examination conducted in the days following revealed Road To Rock to be suffering from soreness in the back and as a result the gelding will now have its workload lightened for a period.
