THREE $2,000 bets with TAB were successful over the weekend.  The first of them was placed at Bankstown last Friday night in the Sydney Cup.  One punter placed the bet on Tact Tate at a price of $1.50 and when the four-year-old won, the punter made a $1,000 profit.

Other large winning bets (stake)

                                $2,000 @ $1.85 Secret Jack – Newcastle 23rd April

                                $2,000 @ $2.10 Alotbettor – Menangle 23rd April

                                $1,500 @ $2.10 Express Bomber – Young 22nd April

The Shane Tritton trained Sudden Change was heavily backed to win on Tuesday afternoon at Tabcorp Park Menangle.  TAB took one bet of $950 at the odds of $4.60 and when Sudden Change won, the punter got a return of $4,370.

Other large winning bets (return)

                                $600 @ $6.00 Jethros An Eagle – Dubbo 20th April

                                $200 @ $16.00 Ocean Diva – Menangle 23rd April

                                $50 @ $61.00 Keys Tothe Village – Coolamon 25th April

Somelovesomewhere has been very costly to punters in recent starts and again cost one punter a lot of money when she was beaten at Coolamon on Anzac Day.  The punter placed a bet of $4,000 on the mare but she was beaten into second place by Keys Tothe Village.

Other large losing bets (stake)

                                $3,000 @ $2.00 Champagne Dreams finished 7th – Dubbo 20th April

                                $2,500 @ $1.50 Tingira Beach finished 8th – Menangle 26th April

                                $2,000 @ $1.40 Jonny B Good finished 3rd – Menangle 23rd April

There was one punter who was keen to back King Kong Cooma at Menangle on Tuesday afternoon.  A bet of $400 at the odds of $26.00 was placed but the trotter never looked likely and finished sixth beaten 30 metres.  The favourite Top Monarch proved too strong.

Other large losing bets (potential return)

                                $700 @ $11.00 Gubbata finished 6th – Dubbo 20th April

                                $500 @ $11.00 Im Mached Out finished 7th – Tamworth 21st April

                                $200 @ $26.00 Hassan Bolt finished 6th – Bankstown 22nd April
