One of Victoria’s favourite pacers, Menin Gate, is back in work and being set for a crack at a second straight Vicbred Super Series title.

Trainer Larry Eastman confirmed his star four-year-old had been in work for “about a week” and he is pleased with where he’s at.

“He looks great. If everything goes to plan we’ll get him ready for the Vicbred and possibly a trip to Queensland.”

Menin Gate became a four-time Group 1 winner during a sterling three-year-old season that saw him take out the Victoria Derby Final, the Vicbred Super Series Final, the Queensland Derby and the Breeders Crown Final.

The son of Somebeachsomewhere out of Dreams Of Heaven boasts 13 wins from 22 starts for over half a million dollars in stakes.
