The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong nine race program this weekend.

Highlights include the $20,000 Rising Stars Championship Final for several up and coming types while several in-form runners are also engaged throughout the meeting.

The Rising Stars Championship Final should be a thrilling contest given the competitive nature stemming from the action from the heats staged on Tuesday afternoon.

Heat winners include the Darrel Graham stablemates Another Broadway and Mafuta Vautin while the Grant Dixon trained Major Moment also prevailed.

In fact, Darrel Graham qualified three runners for the final with Chattanoogachoochoo also representing his Fernvale stable.

Graham will drive Another Broadway while concession drivers Brittany Graham (Darrel’s daughter – Mafuta Vautin) and Brendan Barnes (Chattanoogachoochoo) also land great opportunities.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a $40,000 trifecta jackpot on the opening race.

The Drive It with Horsepower Pace will be staged over 2138m and features several in-form pacers including multiple feature race winner Five Card Draw.

The Bettors Delight gelding has drawn awkwardly on the inside of the second-line but his recent form warrants strong consideration.

Five Card Draw was a beaten favourite last week when gunned down late by the in-form Bennys Ace in a scorching time of 1:53.3.

A guaranteed Quadrella pool of $25,000 is also scheduled – the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET are also offering $1000 First 4 carryovers on the first five races.

The first of 9 races is scheduled to start at 5.11pm.
