The phones were down, but host Len Baker soldiered on, ably assisted by young co-host Luke Humphries and HRV’s Cody Winnell in this week’s edition of Harness Review, as heard Monday night on 97.9 Melton FM.

The podcast goes for longer than usual because the whole show became a “Victorian hour … or so” with technical glitches ruling out the interstate contributors.

Trainers Mario Stella, Owen Martin and Neville Pangrazio were still able to make it through to get on air, as did former Melton mayor Bob Turner and Loddon Valley Stud’s John Campbell for chat about all things breeding.

The highlight though came at the finish with Luke Humphries phantom calling the final 400m of this Saturday night’s City of Melton Plate!

Enjoy.
