Heads Up Helmet Rebate - Is your current helmet offering you total protection?

Harness Racing Australia (HRA) is committed to the welfare of all participants.  For this reason there are rules governing the use of helmets and other protective equipment when undertaking activities involving Standardbred horses.

The launch of the Heads Up Helmet Rebate program earlier this season saw very strong interest with a number of rebate claims already lodged. Participants are reminded that there are still plenty of rebates available and claims can still be made.

The Heads Up initiative is to serve as a reminder that helmets are an extremely important piece of personal protective equipment and should be only used if they are in good condition.

The rebate is proving popular but there are still $50 rebates available.  The process is easy:

The Heads Up Helmet rebate is available to all licence holders in any state and provides a rebate of $50 for a newly purchased helmet.

It is recommended that you act quickly as this offer is limited to 400 rebates.

HRA recommends that helmets are replaced at least every five years and sooner if involved in an accident.
