Harness Racing Australia (HRA) is committed to the welfare of all participants.  For this reason there are rules governing the use of helmets and other protective equipment when undertaking activities involving Standardbred horses.

HRA, in conjunction with the National Insurance Broker, JLT Sport, are pleased to announce the Heads Up Helmet rebate program.

The Heads Up Helmet rebate is available to all licence holders in any state and provides a rebate of $50 for a newly purchased helmet.

To qualify for the rebate:

-   The newly purchased helmet must be from the HRA approved list of helmets.

-   An old helmet must be surrendered to Stewards at the same time as submitting the application form for endorsement.

It is recommended that you act quickly as this offer is limited to 400 rebates.

For further information click here for the Heads Up Helmet Rebate Application Form.

HRA recommends that helmets are replaced at least every five years and sooner if involved in an accident.
