HRSA Board Appointment

The Special Industry Committee have recommended Luciana Larkin be appointed to the HRSA Board as an independent Director (Business) with effect 1 October 2015 for a three year term. Ms Larkin is a Partner with Tregloans Chartered Accountants, and is also an experienced company director. Ms Larkin replaces Peter Marshall who re-applied for this position, but was unsuccessful.

HRSA Chairman, Mark Carey congratulated Ms Larkin and also formally recognised Peter Marshall’s outstanding contribution to the Board and the SA Harness Racing Industry over a period of some 25 years.

Mr Carey stated that Peter Marshall had been an excellent Director, and during his term brought considerable racing and business expertise to the Board. In particular, as a member of the Board’s racing committee, his racing experience has been invaluable in ensuring that it meets the expectations of industry participants.
