The Victorian Metropolitan Drivers Premiership is a race in two with two meetings left, according to the TAB.

Chris Alford has 38 wins, one clear of Gavin Lang, while Greg Sugars is three away in third on 34 wins with just Breeders Crown Consolation Night (tonight) and Breeders Crown Finals Day (Sunday) to go.

The TAB has Alford a $1.70 favourite, with Lang, who on paper has a great book of drives tonight, a $2.25 second pick.

Sugars is $51 and would need a fair bit of luck to go his way to cause an upset.
