Anyone interested in experiencing the excitement of harness racing ownership is invited to attend Harness Racing Victoria’s Ownership Expo next Saturday at Tabcorp Park Melton.

Hosted by Tanya McDermott and featuring interviews with key industry players such as driver Greg Sugars, trainer Alison Alford, owner/breeders Shannon Nixon and Duncan McPherson and more, the Ownership Expo will offer prospective owners a range of information and assistance in getting involved with the industry.

Harness racing contributes annually over $422 million to Victoria’s economy and is responsible for more than 4000 full-time or full-time equivalent jobs, with over  19,000 people actively involved in the industry.

A new Raceapacer syndicate – HRV’s successful syndication program – will also be launched at the session featuring a well-bred filly who will head to the stables of leading trainer Emma Stewart.

The HRV Ownership Expo will be held 4pm-5pm in the Legends Café before the Empire Stallions Vicbred Super Series pacing finals get under way in the evening.
