RACE 4 - EMPIRE STALLIONS VICBRED SUPER SERIES (2YO FILLIES) (1ST SEMI-FINAL)
Gary Quinlan, trainer of Courageous Call explained that the filly had recovered in a normal manner subsequent to its 5th placing and blood tests were taken from Courageous Call on June 30 2015. Mr Quinlan advised that Courageous Call may be driven more conservatively in the Vicbred Super Series final, as compared to the Semi-Final.
RACE 5 - EMPIRE STALLIONS VICBRED SUPER SERIES (4YO ENTIRES & GELDINGS) (1ST SEMI-FINAL)
Amy Tubbs, representative for trainer Alan Tubbs explained that blood tests have been taken from Macterra Lad subsequent to its 10th placing and the gelding has since undergone worm treatment. Ms Tubbs added that Macterra Lad will possibly race again next week.
RACE 8 –EMPIRE STALLIONS VICBRED SUPER SERIES (4YO MARES) (1ST SEMI-FINAL)
Dean Braun, trainer of Melita Bromac NZ notified that the mare had recovered normally subsequent to its 8th placed performance.
