The opportunity

In this two year contract role you will have a lead role in consulting and engaging with the WA Harness Code to deliver positive strategic outcomes.  Reporting to the General Manager Racing, you will implement strategies to maximise wagering revenue on the WA harness product, and lead a small team in the delivery of a range of racing services.

With substantial experience at management level and knowledge of the racing industry, you are someone who can foster and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders. Additionally, you have the ability to contribute to strategic decisions with a focus on ensuring the growth and commerciality of the harness code.

About you

Ideally to be successful in this role you will need

  • Substantial experience in a senior management role
  • Knowledge of WA Racing, preferably in relation to WA Harness Racing
  • Ability to motivate and lead a small team
  • Ability to communicate and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
