MEDIA RELEASE

The current Sky Racing Broadcasting Agreement with HRSA expires on 30 June 2015. Following detailed negotiations with Sky Racing and Tabcorp in relation to a new broadcasting agreement, HRSA wishes to confirm that the race dates and coverage for FY 15/16 have now been finalised.

HRSA will conduct race meetings at five venues across South Australia:
 

  • Globe Derby Park,
  • Port Pirie,
  • Mt Gambier,
  • Kapunda, and
  • Victor Harbor.

Commencing from 1 July 2015, Saturday night racing will resume at Globe Derby Park on a weekly basis, and Friday night racing will resume fortnightly at Port Pirie. Globe Derby Park and Mt Gambier will host the remaining Friday night meetings. Port Pirie and Mt Gambier will also host their Cups on Saturday Nights.

Victor Harbor and Kapunda will host a number of race meetings on Mondays including public holidays. There will also be a number of Tuesday night race meetings programmed throughout the year.
