The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to strong ten race program this Saturday night.

Feature events include the $20,000 Seymour Rising Stars Championship Final plus the culmination of the 2015 BOTRA Queensland Young Drivers Championship.

The series has been staged throughout the week with heats conducted at Redcliffe on Wednesday plus further heats at Albion Park tonight (Friday).

Another highlight is the open class event which features several of state’s fastest pacers; the 1660m contest is expected to be run at a scorching speed.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots including a guaranteed $10,000 trifecta pool on the opening race while a $10,000 Quadrella jackpot is also programmed.

The quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

And Trot Tips is keen to assist.

“I’m looking forward to this meeting and some of the races look very even on paper, several in-form pacers are set to clash and the opening race is a very strong field boasting some very talented types including Our Hi Jinx but he’s drawn poorly over the sprint trip.” Trot Tips Mick Polster said.

The Ubet for the Thrill of It Q3/Q4 Pace has drawn together a strong field featuring last week’s top three placegetter’s from the Listed Flashing Red in Magical Mel, Caesars Folly and Terror Time.

Emerging talent Our Hi Jinx, an impressive first-up winner at Albion Park two weeks ago will be strongly fancied despite his difficult second-line draw.

“Early pace maps very strongly with Lucky Voodoo, Livinthehighlife and Living Lord appearing as the quickest beginners but I think Lucky Voodoo can hold up and lead from his inside post. If this scenario plays out, Caesars Folly is likely to gain the best trip in transit from his trailing draw and will be very hard to hold out at the finish.

Caesars Folly is a very well-credentialed pacer who has won 24 races at this track and his effort last week was super with his fast finishing second behind Magical Mel, he tracked up three wide but the horse he was following didn’t carry him to the turn and therefore, he didn’t get that slingshot effect in the home straight.

I’m playing this race as a leader/behind leader scenario with Caesars Folly and Lucky Voodoo but other winning chances include Our Hi Jinx and Terror Time while strong place hopes include Magical Mel, The King Of Swing, Timeseel and Montana Falcon. I will play these runners in varying combinations and for differing amounts.”

UBET will also offer a $3000 First 4 jackpot on race three.

The first race is scheduled to start at 5.09pm.
