John Caldow and Lovable Larrikin win The Stampede at Melton.
SEVEN races will be staged at the Warragul Cup trotting meeting on Easter Sunday.
Disappointingly for club officials, the Guineas race which was to feature star local Mister Wickham had to be scrapped due to a lack of entries.
With seven events, racing will kick off at 1:04pm. Gates will open at Noon.
The Warragul Cup will be the last race on the program, at 4:53pm.
Among the Cup runners is Lovable Larrikin, looking to give driver John Caldow his third victory in the race, and trainer Gaita Pullicino her second.
Warragul born driver Gavin Lang is another chasing his third win in the event while Chris Alford, Jodi Quinlan, Greg Sugars and Simone Walker have also all won the event before and will chasing another Cup this year.
Last year's Cup winner Hilltop Hustler will run in the Ararat Cup the night before, meaning that for another year no horse has won more than one Warragul Cup.
The Eddie Evison Memorial Trotters Cup features Trafalgar trotter Dawn Tears for Chris and Glenn Hunter.
Highlights on Sunday include Fashions on the Field, live music, children's activities and, of course, plenty of free Easter eggs for the kids.
