The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will take centre stage this Friday night.

And it’s a feature filled meeting boasting several QBRED Breeders Classic Finals plus the culmination of the Racing Queensland Girls On Track Mares Final.

Australia’s only female race caller Victoria Shaw will also be in attendance and will broadcast the Girls on Track Final.

Her first foray into race calling was on New Year's Day 1998 at Victoria's Hanging Rock Race Course. She is also the first woman to call thoroughbred races on racing relay networks around Australia on television and radio. Victoria is also the first female in Australia to call live thoroughbred racing at many venues around the country.

The meeting boasts a strong female flavour with another highlight being the BOTRA Pink Pants Ladies Invitation where a field of twelve drivers will do battle.

Gambling giant TattsBet will offer a raft of jackpots including a $23,000 Quadrella jackpot, the quaddie will be held on races 2, 3, 4 and 5.

And Trot Tips is keen to assist.

“This is a good quality program with several entertaining clashes looming in many of the Breeders Classic Finals. I’m really keen on many of these races from an exotics viewpoint and the jackpots only adds to the appeal, hopefully this sets up a very good weekend.” Trot Tips Mick Polster said.

The opening leg of the quaddie is the QBRED Breeders Classic 3yo Fillies Consolation, a race that looks very even on paper and boasts several winning prospects.

“This is the key leg for value with many winning chances here; I would include Lucky Cold Lucy, Victree Vendetta, Sista To Mafuta, Im Paige and Candyliscious. This is tough to assess but could easily provide a value result so play wide.

“Only three winning chances in the next leg with My Arthur Bee, Mafuta Vautin and Raring To Go looking better than most here. The stablemates look well placed off the front-line while Raring To Go faces a class drop.

“The only winning hopes in the next leg are Bettor Promise, Feel The Faith and Bettorthanspecial. All must overcome second-line draws and recent setbacks but they are classes above their rivals. In the last leg, it looks a race in two between two exciting colts in A Good Chance and Admiral Bronski. Both pacers have recorded excellent victories on this track recently.”

TattsBet will also offer $3000 First 4 jackpots on all QBRED Breeders Classic Finals (races 3, 4, 5 & 8) while fixed odds betting is also available on those races.

The first race is scheduled to start at 5.50pm.
