ROBINVALE Harness Racing Club will host its annual pacing cup meeting on Sunday at Mildura.
The eight-race program kicks off at 1.13pm with the feature race scheduled to be run at 4.58pm – the 2015 Pat Walsh Memorial Robinvale Pacing Cup.
The race is a mobile-start R2-R4 class event over 2190 metres and has attracted an eight-horse field.
Polemarker Bettatobelucky has won 17 races from 52 starts and placed on 14 further occasions.
The bulk of the gelding’s wins have come at Broken Hill where he won the Coughlan Drilling Pty Ltd Pacing Cup last March over 2500m in 2:03.8.
Trained by Donald Pimm the six-year-old gelding’s regular reinsman Cassie Robinson will take the reins on Sunday.
Merbein South trainer Jason McGinty will line up nine-year-old gelding Wrinkle Knutt in the Cup with Jacob Kerridge in the sulky.
Wrinkle Knutt was a winner at Mildura last January in a C1 in 2:02.4 and has won 12 races from 208 starts with a further 56 minor placings.
Kilbirnie North View has drawn barrier three for Koorlong trainer Frank Cavallaro and concession reinsman Nathan Weightman.
Kilbirnie North View has won only five times from 70 goes but has placed on 17 occasions and won at Broken Hill three starts back.
Eight-year-old gelding Franco Talon has run his past 29 races at Globe Derby but is now in the Red Cliffs camp of trainer/driver Kate Attard.
Franco Talon won a trial at Mildura on March 20 over 2190m in 2:02.8, defeating Did It Alone by a half-head.
Four-year-old entire Thats Rite is Frank Cavallaro’s second runner in the race, drawn gate five for local reinsman Luke Watson.

Rounding out the field will be Ringtripleowe for nomadic reinsman Michael Bellman, who is in top form.
Ringtripleowe was a Melton restricted winner three starts back in 1:57.6 and finished second in a C2 at Yarra Valley two starts back.
