Trent Moffat has been selected as the Queensland representative for the 2015 Australasian Young Drivers Championship to be held in May this year.

Currently in his fourth season of driving Moffat has chalked up 53 wins this season and is certain to surpass his 2013-14 record of 55 wins to achieve his best season of driving to date.

While Moffat was born into the harness racing game, he has really come of age under the guidance of his long term employer Grant Dixon who has offered the youngster plenty of opportunities in his career to date.

Moffat has driven 125 winners to date from 1273 drives with 254 minor placings and is currently in fifth position in the 2014-15 Queensland State Drivers Premiership.

The young driver's most memorable success to date was driving old marvel Vegas Bound to victory in the 2014 Listed Flashing Red Discretionary Handicap.  His biggest win this season was in February piloting the NSW Derby Finalist Corporal Luna to victory in the Seymour Rising Stars Championship Final.

Trent is a successful product of the Queensland Young Guns Program and has done a marvelous job with Revivalist a mare he purchased from Victoria as part of this program which he also trains.  Revivalist, a Queensland Metropolitan winner has had 19 placings, including 5 wins since arriving from Victoria and has achieved a career best 1:54:1.  She continues to race competitively as she gets higher in the grades and is a credit to his training and driving abilities.
