Owners and trainers are advised to note that as per previous years, the 2240-metre Group 3 Aluminium Industries Trotters Free For All on Great Southern Star night will be a Drivers Invitation race.

Therefore horses accepted into the race will be randomly allocated drivers from a pool of 12 which include the recently crowned World Champion Dexter Dunn from New Zealand along with Canada’s Jody Jamieson and Knud Moenster from Denmark.

The long list of stars doesn’t end there however with headline act Stent’s trainer/driver Colin De Filippi to also take part in the race with last year’s winning driver Anthony Butt.

Australia’s list of invitees is headed by champion reinsmen Chris Alford and Gavin Lang along with young guns Greg Sugars and Luke McCarthy.

Recent Hunter Cup winning reinswoman Kerryn Manning will also be allocated one of the starters as will Keystone Del’s regular driver Blake Fitzpatrick and Queensland’s Grant Dixon.
