In countdown to Christmas, the Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a big ten race program this Saturday night.

And the weekly Listed $25,000 Seymour Rising Stars Championship Final is the main attraction with the C0 class performers chasing the lucrative prizemoney on offer.

Gambling giant TattsBet will offer a $30,000 Quadrella jackpot, the opening leg being the Rising Stars Final.

The Quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 and 5.

And Trot Tips is keen to play.

“There looks to be value in the quaddie legs this week with several good chances in most races; you would expect this carryover to swell quite nicely paving the way for a good dividend, just in time for Christmas.” Trot Tips Mick Polster said.

Former juvenile star Majestic Mach makes his return and starts in the Sure Products Pace over the 2138m, the Grant Dixon prepared pacer now races without hopples and will have plenty of supporters.

The highly decorated pacer is resuming since running a brave placing in the Gr.1 Australasian Breeders Crown 4yo Final behind Marty Monkhouser and Bit Of A Legend at Melton back in August.

Majestic Mach has trialed twice in preparation for his race return.

“Lightly raced pacer Franco Nepia was the most impressive performer from the heats on Tuesday and should have the most upside considering that was his first start since May earlier this year, his time was strong and he’s nicely drawn off the front-line. I would also include Lachie Maguire, Major Talk, Hey Sister and Our Guggenheim for extra insurance.

“Majestic Mach is the obvious in the next leg but his trials haven’t been super impressive, in my opinion, he’s been quite dour in both trials but the Dixon stable always leave a little extra heading into the races. Both Gooday Stride and the ever consistent Compton Street should be added to your bet slip in this leg.

“The remaining legs could easily provide value; Nonno Stride, Princess Zara P, Skippy Saddler and Timeseel look the main players in the third leg while in the last leg I would certainly include Ida Tiger, Hector Barbossa, Dabeers Zargon, Magic Trump and Afterburn. I will play these runners in different combinations and for varying amounts.”

TattsBet will also offer a $3000 First 4 jackpot on the opening race.

The first race is scheduled to start at 5.43pm.

It’s the final metropolitan meeting before Christmas and the entire APHRC staff would like to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas and a safe holiday period.
