Improving juvenile pacer Kinda Arty Lombo (pictured) has the chance to emulate the deeds of her grand dam, Lombo La Paree, by winning this Friday night?s $100,000 Ridley Agriproducts Vicbred Super Series 2YO Fillies Final at Moonee Valley.

Lombo La Paree took out the same Vicbred division in 1994 and her Perfect Art granddaughter gets the opportunity to follow suit after drawing ideally in gate two.

An impressive all-the-way semi final winner last Friday night, Kinda Arty Lombo is unbeaten in three starts for famed Great Western mentor Peter Manning and will once again be piloted by Moonee Valley?s premier driver, Kerryn Gath.

Manning also has the Jet Laag filly Show Girl Lombo, a fast finishing third in her semi, engaged in the Group 1 final for leviathan WA owner Mick Lombardo.

Pre-series favourites Triliner (gate nine) and Starry Rainbow (gate five) were beaten in their semi finals, but both had excuses and are too good to dismiss.

New South Wales raider Safe Response (gate six) used his explosive gate speed to advantage last week upstaging Starry Rainbow in the second semi final. She?s set to play a key role for astute trainer-driver Ray Walker despite an awkward draw.

The field for the $100,000 Ridley Agriproducts Vicbred Super Series 2YO Fillies Final (Group 1), to be run over 2090 metres at Moonee Valley this Friday at 8.17pm, is;
