Harness Racing Victoria's (HRV) is responsible for the control, development and promotion of the Victorian harness racing industry. We have a strong focus on developing our sport and have strong links to rural and regional communities within Victoria.
Reporting to the General Manager – Marketing & Events, your primary responsibility will be the development of our sponsorship and sales portfolio and increasing sponsorship revenue for both HRV and our entertainment and racing complex, Tabcorp Park, located in Melton.
You will tailor exclusive and different offerings to attract new sponsors and advertisers, ideally from the corporate sector. Tertiary qualified and with a strong commercial acumen, you will have previous experience in sales and or sponsorship acquisition, preferably within the sports industry.
An experienced professional, you will be able to demonstrate your previous success in building a sales and/or sponsorship portfolio through creating unique and innovative sponsorship concepts. You enjoy working within a close knit team and have strong skills in the area of relationship building and negotiation.
