Swan Hill Trotting Club president Arthur Graham said he was thrilled to see Swan Hill Pacing Cup winner Guaranteed win the prestigious Kilmore Pacing Cup last Sunday.

Guaranteed, from the powerful Emma Stewart stable, took out the Swan Hill Pacing Cup a week before his Kilmore Cup success – opening the TAB.com.au Trots Country Cups season with two straight feature victories.

Graham said via a press release from the club that “the years of hard work promoting the cup joint venture with Kilmore (whereby the Swan Hill Pacing Cup winner gains automatic entry into the Kilmore Pacing Cup) has paid off”.

“We are the first of the country cups and as we have done in the last couple of years we have really set the benchmark and it’s been great to have our first Swan Hill/Kilmore Cup winner,” Graham said.

“This win, on top of our very strong results so far as our KPIs are concerned, has shown just how well the new Swan Hill track has been received.

“When the state’s leading trainers and drivers are prepared to bring their best horses to race on our track, there can be no doubt it puts us in a very strong position.”
