South Australia to Host Australian Drivers Championship

Harness Racing South Australia (HRSA), are delighted to announce it has secured the rights to host the Australian Drivers Championship (ADC). The inaugural Championship, designed to assemble Australia's best drivers in fierce competition with each other, will be held at Globe Derby Park on Saturday 18 October 2014.

Twelve drivers, two nominated from each State Controlling Body, will compete for the title of National Driving Champion, accumulating points across the six race Series. This group of elite Drivers represents the absolute ‘cream’ of Australian Drivers and some of the World’s best. The following Drivers have been nominated to compete on the night:

South Australia
David Harding
Ryan Hryhorec

Victoria
Chris Alford
Greg Sugars

Western Australia
Gary Hall Jnr
Chris Voak

Queensland
Grant Dixon
Pete McMullen

Tasmania
Ricky Duggan
Gareth Rattray

The National Champion will have their performance factored into the selection of Australia's representative to compete in the World Driving Championship to be held in Sydney in 2015.
