The Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards have lodged an application with the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to review the decision of the HRV Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RAD Board) to allow the appeal of Shayne Cramp in relation to his drive on Philtra Phella in Race 1 at Mildura on 13 June 2014.
Mr Cramp had been suspended for eight weeks by HRV Stewards under ARHR 149(1). The HRV RAD Board, on 14 July 2014, allowed Mr Cramp’s appeal and the penalty was set aside. It is against this decision that the HRV Stewards have applied to the VCAT for review.
