Owner & trainers should take note that the Open Pace on the program for Southern Cross Final day at Betezy Park Globe Derby on August 3 has had the prizemoney increased to $8,000. The prizemoney breakdowns have been adjusted from the normal ‘metro’ breakdowns, to increase the returns to unplaced runners. The breakdowns will be: 1st $4,260, 2nd $1,150, 3rd $740, 4th $350 and 5th to Last $250.

This is the race that Smoken Up will say farewell to South Australia, so it is hoped to encourage a strong field. The race is a C6 or better over 2230m and is a non-seeded barrier draw on class.

Nominations close on Monday 28th July at 2.00pm
