The annual Easter Sunday Warragul Pacing Cup has positioned itself perfectly to be the jewel in the Crown of one of Victoria’s best long weekends.

This year is no different, with the Choice Hotels Country Cup season concluding in scintillating fashion as Arber and Savesomtimetodream duel to become the Country Cups King.

But the action won’t just be hot on the track with the club offering up a host of incentives for the local community to head out.

Namely, celebrity ex-footballers Peter Daicos and Tommy Hafey will be on track throughout the day, mingling with the crowd and regaling stories of their glittering careers in the AFL.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get up close and personal with some childhood heroes while still keeping the kids entertained.

Warragul is putting on a host of kids’ activities including a jumping castle, face painting, Coco the clown and a host of other activities to coincide with the holiday.

A major raffle on the day will see patrons win plenty of prizes from the barrel of donated goods while Harness Racing Victoria have chipped in with a $1,000 cash giveaway.

For more information on the day call the club on (03) 5169 6357.
