The Western District is set to come alive Saturday night with the running of the $25,000 Terang Co-op Pacing Cup.

Held over 2,680 metres, the race is positioned perfectly to attract some of Victoria’s best pacers.

The program will be supported by the $10,000 Barastoc Terang Trotters Cup but the action won’t just be hot on the track with some exciting activities planned in and around the course.

It will truly be a great family night out with the entertainment starting from 6pm and including clowns, face painting, jumping castle, lolly scramble, pony trots and food for the kids.

For those a little more adventurous, Scott Grant from Westvic Reptiles will be holding demonstrations of many species of lizards, snakes and fresh water crocodiles.

And the very talented local country music singer Ian ‘Bidge’ Boyd will perform live for the patrons on course.

With full TAB facilities and dining options still available, Terang is going to be the place to be on Saturday night.
