Three unbeaten fillies clash in the $300,000 Harnesslink Australian Pacing Gold
XIV Final for two-year-old fillies over 1660 metres at Albion Park this Saturday
night.
It's thus a real State Of Origin clash, with the unbeaten youngsters coming from
different states - Starry Rainbow (barrier two) is a Victorian, White Thunder
(three) is prepared in New South Wales, while Chance Your Walk (11) is a
Queenslander.
Chris Alford will handle Starry Rainbow for trainer Jayne Davies; brothers Chris
(trainer) and Terry (driver Robinson) combine with White Thunder and Garry
Lefoe will take the reins behind Chance The Walk.
Chance The Walk's trainer, Graeme Bowyer, has preferred her stablemate, pole-marker
Perfect Pet, who is chasing a hat-trick of wins.
Race favourite White Thunder is by boom sire Presidential Ball, who has also
qualified Lets Thank Heaven (Alan Donohoe), who will start from the outside of
the back row.
White Thunder and Lets Thank Heaven looked awesome in their wins in heats at Harold
Park.
Last-start winners Chilled Sanction (Amy Tubbs), Susie Oneill (David Hewitt) and
Vaucluse Hanover (Joel Pengilly) have drawn alongside each other in barriers
four, five and six.
Chilled Sanction took out her heat at Moonee Valley, while the other pair won
repechages at Albion Park last Saturday night.
Maidens Krystyvonne (seven, Nathan Giles) and Art Start (eight, Peter Greig) seem
handicapped out of the final from their wide alleys.
Three last-start winners have drawn the back row, with Gracie Wilkes (Greg Bennett)
the inside from the trailing draw, inside of Village Beauty (Lola Kunde).
The $300,000 Harnesslink
Australian Pacing Gold XIV 2YO Fillies Final will be run at 8.40pm (EST).
