Kerryn Manning is Australia's most celebrated reinswoman - her long list of enviable career achievements in fact place her in an elite group as one of the most prolific participants in the history of harness racing! The first female driver to win the Australian Drivers' Premiership, Kerryn has been our leading Australian driver (male or female) for the past five seasons, and leading Australian reinswoman for the past seven.

She has also won multiple Victorian State and Metropolitan titles, and was the first female, and second reinsperson in history (after Chris Alford) to drive more than 200 winners in a season on consecutive occasions. Kerryn has achieved this feat for the past six seasons, which included setting the previous Australian record for the most wins in a racing season when registering 288 winners in 2000-2001. She looked on target to smash her own record in the 2001-2002 season, but a broken shoulder put a stop to that!

Kerryn made amends the following season though, by smashing her own driving record and in the process becoming the first, and only reinsperson in history to drive more than 300 winners in a season. By the end of the 2002-2003 season, Kerryn had saluted the judge a staggering 371 times... a remarkable record that will take some beating. Kerryn again came close in the 2003-2004 season with 334 winners, and once again she recorded over 300 victories in the 2004-2005 season.

Kerryn's other achievements include the record for the most wins at a TAB meeting in Australia - twice driving six winners on the one card.

In October 2005 Kerryn further secured her place in harness racing history by claiming the world record for the most wins by a female harness racing driver. Kerryn took the record by driving Pocket Fantasy to victory at Terang - the 2133rd win of her illustrious career.
