Victorian Hall of Fame Dinner
The 4th annual Victorian Harness Racing Hall of Fame Presentation Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 29 at the Toolern Dining Room, Tabcorp Park Melton.
To be held in the lead-up to the SEW Eurodrive Victoria Cup carnival, the function will feature the induction of six new members – two drivers, two stallions, a racehorse and a media personality -- to the Hall of Fame.
The inductees or their representatives will be interviewed by well known media men Bill Hutchison and Len Baker in an On the Couch style presentation.
A highlight of the night will be the elevation to legendary status of one of the Hall’s 42 inductees, who will become the first-ever Legend.
Certificates of Merit will also presented by the Victorian Harness Racing Media Association as well as Harness Racing Australia awards including the J. P. Stratton Award to Rob Merola, general manager of SEW Eurodrive, the major sponsor of the night.
The function will be compered by Rob Gaylard.
Tickets which cost $75 each cover a three-course meal and drinks.
