Treble to Brown including Stratton Cup

Smiles all round after the win of Russley Rascal in the 2012 Stratton Cup.
Banjup trainer/driver Colin Brown brought up a driving treble at Gloucester Park on Friday night when he landed the Greg and Skye Bond trained Russley Rascal a narrow winner of the 2012 Stratton Cup over Mysta Magical Mach and Lombo Navigator.
It was Brown’s second Stratton Cup win following his 2007 success in the race behind the Tony Svilicich trained Demoralizer.
Svilicich trained Friday night’s runner-up Mysta Magical Mach.
Brown’s earlier winners on Friday came behind Kamwood Laughter, trained by Greg and Skye Bond, and Puhinui Rainbow.
Puhinui Rainbow is trained by 19yo Dylan Egerton-Green who has been training for less than a year.
Gary Hall Jnr also landed a winning treble last night behind Uppy Son (for trainer Stephen Reed), Bledisloe for trainer Michael Brennan and with debutante 3yo Mariquita Amor for his father Gary Hall Snr.
