Good Form Speed Maps launched by HRV today.

Harness Racing Victoria today launched the newest innovation to their Good Form blog; graphic speed maps for all of Melton’s 12 races tonight.

A staple throughout the thoroughbred industry, speed maps have become an integral tool for punters wanting to know where their horse will settle in the run and how much pace will be injected into a race.

Last week, the Good Form blog inaugurated written speed reference guides in what was a first for harness racing right around Australia.

Now you can literally see where your chosen horse is likely to settle in any of this evening’s dozen Tabcorp Park events.

The response to Harness Racing Victoria’s Good Form message, which aims to extol the virtues of wagering on the trots, has been even better than expected during the campaign’s opening week.

Not only has the Good Form blog been heavily patronised throughout Australia and even internationally but the feedback from punters has been overwhelmingly positive.

Harness Racing Victoria will not rest on its laurels however, with plans for even greater innovations to be rolled out in coming weeks.

As for tonight, please enjoy the Game Plans from @MickPolster and @jasonbonnington, plus your brand new Graphic Speed Maps, Star Triallers and Black Bookers.

Also be sure to visit the above Twitter handles as well as @Hutchysays for all your punting advice and @hrvnews for all the latest on Jackpots, news and the inside harness word.
