In further support for the victims of the Leeton Paceway fire, Yirribee Stud at Wagga and the McCarthy family have donated a service to For A Reason, the first son of Art Major to stand in NSW, with a service fee of $2500.
HRNSW has set up an e-bay account where all interested bidders can vie for the donated stallion services.
Alabar Bloodstock had previously donated services to two of its stallions, Art Official and Safari, while Independent Portable Buildings, headed by former HRNSW Board Member Rob Nalder, had also donated a service to Armbro Operative
Art Official stands at a fee of $3575 including GST at Alabar’s NZ farm whilst Safari is a record breaking, Group One winning son of the immortal Fake Left standing at Alabar’s Victorian base at a fee of $1650.
Armbro Operative is the sire of over 1000 individual winners with prizemoney earnings in excess of $46 million dollars and over 100 $100,000 earners.
Harness Breeders NSW has also donated $2,ooo to the worthy cause, while Garrards Horse and Hound and HRNSW have also supplied Rio MK11 gigs along with training gear and equipment to those who suffered.
