PLENTY OF ENTERTAINMENT AT NEWCASTLE

12 November, 2003

While the $50,000 Tooheys Newcastle Mile will take centre stage this Saturday night at the Newcastle Paceway, there are plenty of other forms of entertainment planned for our on course patrons.

A lucky Race Book draw will take place at 10.00pm and the prize for one lucky patron will be a $1,000 voucher from Glenn Geary - "The Good Guys". Every patron will also be given a ticket in the draw for a state of the art DVD player that will be drawn after the Tooheys Newcastle Mile.

The famous Marching Koalas (pictured) will entertain the crowd. There will be free rides, face painting and games for the kids. The mini trotters will be racing.

Resident soloist Cameron Bracken will entertain the capacity crowd in the Pacers Restaurant. There will be a juggler and magician wandering throughout the throng of spectators.

The BIG SCREEN data projector TV will be in action and punters will be able to take on Sydney bookies Dean Newell and Vince MacDonald.

So if you are in the area head trackside for a great night?s entertainment. If you can?t make it be sure to invest at your local TAB Agent and tune into SKY, for what will be a fantastic flying mile at the Speed Capital of NSW.

The Tooheys Newcastle Mile jumps at 9.45pm.
