Andrew chases home town success

Young reinsman Andrew Bourke will head to his home track at Newcastle tonight to chase success in the Club Menangle Country Series heat. 

Bourke relocated to Sydney to work for prominent trainer Kevin Pizzuto, however heads back up the coast to drive the Chris Bourke-trained Sunday Sesh.

The mare won two starts ago at Newcastle with Bourke (Andrew) in the sulky, which is one of three winners the 20-year-old has driven this year.

Bourke began driving in the 2016/17 season and has recorded 43 victories to date.

Last season was Bourke’s best yet, steering 15 winners in the year.

Bourke will also drive Que Sera at Newcastle tonight in race four. Bourke has driven more winners than any other track in his career to date.
