Last season’s top New South Wales driver Cameron Hart will get a taste of racing at Tamworth tonight.

The 22-year-old has booked five drives in heats of the classic Golden Guitar series.

With the $40,000 final to be held at Tamworth on January 21, Hart will be aiming to qualify horses for trainers Jarrod Alchin and Queensland horseman Graham Dwyer.

For Alchin, Hart will drive pacers Aqua Sancta, Delightful Dude and Justa Little Bit in races two, three and four, respectively.

Hart has two drives for Dwyer with Harps in race one and Valencia in race five.

Dwyer, who trained 105 winners last season, will be brining down 10 horses for the series with two horses in each of the five heats.

Last year’s Golden Guitar-winning driver Robert Morris will be back to defend his title also.

Morris has a drive in each heat for three different trainers. He won the race last year with the Geoffrey Harding-trained The Choreographer.
