Harness Racing Australia (HRA), along with Racing Information Services Enterprise (RISE) are pleased to announce that Gold Crosses Reports are now available on harness.org.au.

The Gold Crosses Reports, which are now accessible as part of the HRA Online Breeding Reports segment of the website are an initiative between HRA and RISE in order to offer more valuable information to breeders so they may make more informed decisions in breeding their mares.

The new Reports, by stallion, show the statistics of progeny out of the resultant broodmare sires which allow breeding enthusiasts to study the best crosses available. The reports are in a sortable format, which will allow users to sort each report by 25 options including by foal numbers, sire name, by times, average stakes and highest earner.

The HRA Head of Finance & Strategy, Cameron Brown recorded the below interview with the President of Harness Breeders Victoria, Nick Hooper to discuss the value of reports to breeders, and to show website viewers how to access and use the reports.

“Gold Crosses reports are a vital tool for breeders in deciding what stallion to send their mare to. HBV members and all Australian breeders should be excited that HRA have provided such a great amount of information available to breeders.’’ Hooper said.

‘’The Reports will also assist prospective yearling sale buyers in analysing which are the best crosses and which provide the most successful progeny.’’

Website users should watch the below video to show how to locate the reports on the website in the HRA Online Breeding Report section of the website. Users are required to register and login to access the reports here: https://www.harness.org.au/ausbreed/registration/index.cfm/registration

Harness Racing Australia are committed to providing website users with up to data breeding, racing and industry reports and statistics.
