RACE 6 – CARLTON & UNITED BREWERIES PACE (2180 MS)

Tim Butt, trainer of Parama NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Butt attributed the performance to the gelding being unable to progress into the event. Mr Butt advised Parama NZ is engaged at Tabcorp Park Melton 24 April 2021.

RACE 2 – SHELFORD WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM 3YO PACE (2100 MS)

David Moran, trainer of Lochinvar Chief, advised subsequently from the event the gelding is undergoing a dynamic examination at the Ballarat Equine Practice and are awaiting the results and will contact stewards once advised.

RACE 9 – WINNING POST BAR & RESTAURANT PACE (1609 MS)

Shane Sanderson, trainer of Whereyabinboppin, advised subsequently from the event blood tests revealed the gelding to have multiple abnormalities. Mr Sanderson advised Whereyabinboppinwill now be treated accordingly. Mr Sanderson advised he will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 7 – HYGAIN TROT (2170MS)

Mick Blackmore, trainer of Senitas Strength, advised subsequently from the event the filly was inspected by the stable veterinarian with blood tests and examination failing to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Blackmore added Senitas Strengthhas recovered satisfactorily. Mr Blackmore advised he will continue with the current preparation and more than likely trial Senitas Strength prior to starting again.
