RACE 5 – GEELONG HIGH SPEED RACING PACE (2100 MS)
Stephen Cleave, trainer of Mirakuru, advised subsequently from the event blood tests revealed the gelding displaying a viral infection. Mr Cleave advised it will be now his intentions to spell Mirakuru.

RACE 7 – TAB AUSTRALIAN TROTTING GRAND PRIX (GROUP 1) (2240 MS)
Andy Gath, trainer of Tornado Valley NZ, advised subsequently from the event blood tests failed to reveal any abnormalities Tornado Valley NZ also underwent a full veterinarian examination which revealed the gelding showing general soreness in the hocks which have been treated accordingly. Mr Gath advised he will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 4 – HI-STYLE BUILDING PACE (1650 MS)
Denis Grieve, trainer of Rose Cooper, advised subsequently from the event the mare has recovered satisfactorily and is at a loss to explain the performance. Mr Grieve advised Rose Cooper will be given a light week and he will continue with the current preparation and will consider trialling Rose Cooper prior to starting again.
